Build a base in ZED ZONE 1.0: the Structure tab and its five block materials, multi-story builds, repairing with the Repair Hammer, why hordes and NPCs still get in, and where to put your base.
- Structure tab: wood, stone, metal, glass and hay blocks.
- Removing a block or Ctrl+Z refunds all materials.
- Hordes look for open doors first, then break the weakest wall.

Where do I find a generator?
Motorized Zombies drop the Portable Gasoline Generator (item 41), and you can also build one. The drop was fixed in March 2026. Details →
How do I power a 3D printer?
Build an electric pole near the generator and the printer; its cables connect them. Fuel the generator and switch it on. Details →
How do I get glass in ZED ZONE?
Smelt rocks in a furnace, tear down walls (they drop glass), or get lucky in shipping containers. Details →
How do I make CNC components?
Build the Simple Lathe; it makes CNC components (item 29) from iron plates. The 3D printer needs 10 of them. Details →

Use the Structure tab in the construction panel: wood, stone, metal, glass and hay blocks. Removing a block or Ctrl+Z refunds everything. Details →
